About This Site
What is it?
MERGE is an interactive flight experiment from Strange Little Lab. You guide a bird, shape flocking behavior, and aim for a swelling, cohesive murmuration—part toy, part audiovisual sketch.
How to play
- Open the MERGE page and wait for the flock sim to load
- Steer / adjust cohesion controls to keep the group together
- Watch the flock count climb toward the goal
- Tweak settings if you want calmer or wilder motion
- Best on desktop with a trackpad or mouse
